Origins to Present
Initiating his artistic journey in Staten Island, New York at the age of only 3, Salvo would be introduced to his influences of Progressive Rock by his father, Michael, from artists such as Rush and Dream Theater, implementing a drive for precision.
From the age of 8, Salvo withheld a notable repertoire of performing with artists varying in genres of Rock, Metal, Alternative, Hip-Hop and Pop. He performed with several School of Rocks for almost a decade, before creating his own ensemble, ElephantTalk.
At age 17, the ensemble would later release their debut album “Ivory” in 2019, gaining most attention from tracks “Cloak and Dagger” and “Bad Things”. Salvo and ElephantTalk would go on to win 2nd place out of 500 bands in the 2019 Rock To The Top Competition at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.
Within his High School Program, he would go on to win the “Most Advanced In Music” Award as a senior in his Performance Arts Program, before attending his first year of Berklee.
After four years of studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music & currently New Jersey based, Salvo released a full progressive LP with former trio, tide varia. He has recently moved to Los Angeles, CA, touring and recording as the newest member of the punk-rock group NIIS Los Angeles.
